 Tempered glass

     Tempered glass is made of float glass which is firstly heated to softening point nearby，then rapidly cooled down by air，enable even compression stress on the glass surface.During the instant cooling procession，external glass is solidified because of the rapid freezing。And as internal glass cools down slowly and would make surface of glass produce compression stress，meanwhile，internal glass produces tensile stress which further makes mechanical strength of glass up to double increment and to be with good thermal stability。

Characteristics
     Safety：It is not easy to be broken when against the external force。Fragile glass is a  small honeycomb-shaped particle in obtuse angle，which does not do harm to human’s body。
     High intensity：Comparde with float glass of the same thickness，impact strength of tempered glass is higher by 3-5times。
     Thermal stability：Tempered glass has good thermal stability。Compared with float glass in the thickness，its impact strength is 3 times higher。Tempered glass can withstand sudden change between 220℃-250℃ while float glass only can withstand 70℃ -100 ℃。When tempered glass suffers a rapid cooling to some extent，direction of compression stress and tensile stress on the surface happens to be opposite，and offset each other。When tempered glass is heated，surface prodces tensile stress。And because compression resistant stress of is double as tensile resistant stress，therefore，tempered glasscan also withstand a certain of rapid heating temperature。
      Big deflection angle：Compared with float glass of the same thickness，deflection angle of tempered glass is 3-4times higher。 When there is load on tempered glass，its maximum tensile stress doesn't located on glass surface as plain glass but on the central point of the chuck of tempered glass。Therefore，tempered glass is characterized with big deflection angle。

    Tempered glass is a kind of safety glass，universally applied in the place which requests high mechanical strength and high safety，such as glass door。curtain wall，internal partition，elevator，showcase，dominated window，furniture，appliance etc。

      Thickness：3mm-25mm。
